There are so many things we have wanted to share since Coast to Coast Sustainable Solutions launched last spring. For example, why Coast to Coast? Common question, but we’ll get to that next time! Today I want to talk about packaging. Not just any packaging, but sustainable packaging.
Have you ever thought about all the material that goes into shipping products, especially in the Amazon, instant gratification world we now live in? If you are an eco-friendly, recycling fanatic like we are it’s enough to make your head spin!
Our intention with C2C is to promote reusable, sustainable products. And while there are endless super-cute, fun options for packaging products, we are determined to keep waste as low as possible.
These new bags arrived the other day in the mail. We feel like a kid at Christmas whenever a new product comes our way that aligns with our mindset and philosophy. Ones that we hope our customers will appreciate as much as we do and REuse, REpurpose, REcycle as intended.
These mailers are 100% biodegradable and generate less CO2 than traditional plastic. Can you believe it?! They actually break down and dispose over time.
Our other packaging, the Kraft mailer envelopes you may have seen with all orders so far, also fall under the sustainable umbrella of planet-loving products. Eco Enclose makes packaging that are:
- Made from 100% recycled, renewable source material

- Curbside recyclable
- Naturally biodegradable and compostable
And if you are local, you will find our products for sale at these locations, all packaged in Clear Bags, made with a plant-based polylactic acid (PLA) that is certified compostable.
